International Business Chamber (IBC) has established strict membership standards to ensure a reliable and trustworthy membership base, which include the following requirements:

Membership in the IBC is intended for Companies and Professionals who wish to expand their reach and access global trade opportunities.
1 - Membership Application and Verification
1.1. Initial Review: All applicants shall undergo an initial review, including background checks, verification of legal status, and alignment with the mission and objectives of the IBC.
1.2. Due Diligence: A complete due diligence process is carried out for all applicants, including verification of the company’s legal status, its activities, and affiliations to ensure compliance with IBC standards and values.
1.3. Orientation Program: New members may be required to attend an onboarding session to understand IBC policies, benefits, and expectations.
1.4. Right of Discretion: IBC reserves the right to reject any membership application at its sole discretion without providing an explanation. Applicants may request an independent appeal, but appeals may be denied if the decision is consistent with IBC policies and requirements.
1.5. Grounds for Rejection:
- Submission of fraudulent or inaccurate information
- Civil disputes
- Involvement in legal proceedings
- Public sanctions for misconduct
- Failed references or inability to verify credibility through provided references
- Insufficient supporting data about the company
- Lack of evidence of legitimate activities
1.6. Balanced Representation: To maintain balanced representation, IBC may temporarily limit the number of members in certain categories, such as specific industries or geographic regions.
1.7. Periodic Review: IBC may periodically reassess members’ compliance with its policies to maintain high standards of professionalism and reliability.
2 - Legal Status
2.1. Membership in IBC is generally intended for active Companies and Professionals with clear and ongoing operations.
2.2. Applicants must be legally registered entities with active operational status.
2.3. Candidates must provide a transparent overview of their activities.
2.4. If IBC cannot understand or does not have the capacity to support these activities, membership will not be granted.
2.5. To ensure compliance with IBC principles, periodic due diligence may be conducted for all members.
3 - Member Conduct and Compliance
3.1. Members must behave with the utmost respect.
3.2. Any form of abuse, verbal, written, or otherwise, will result in immediate revocation of membership.
3.3. Abuse of the IBC award system, recognitions, support letters, or any other membership benefit is strictly prohibited and may lead to revocation of membership.
3.4. Companies and Professionals engaging in racism, sexism, homophobia, or any other form of discrimination will be denied membership or removed if already admitted.
3.5. Members are expected to uphold the highest ethical standards and contribute to a positive and collaborative community.
